16-18-21 (2009)

16-18-21 (2009)

Many ?? would popped up in your heads, trying hard to think what with 16-18-21. You must be wondering, is it a date, combination and etc. Well, the answer is none of those. The numbers are actually the age of my younger brother, me and my elder sister. Since, my sister find that the numbers are unique + extraordinary. She decided that all of us 3siblings should maybe have a photo shoot session together. So therefore below are the some of the studio shots taken by Young-Sun, a friend of mine.

BonOdori 2009

Another year had gone, :( it seemed like just yesterday it was BonOdori 08'. Well, this is a yearly event that I will not miss out but it's starting to get a lil boring for me though. No improvement, same shit every single year. What got me surprised was that the crowd number keep increasing yearly. A day that most visitors will wear Japanese traditional clothing

Source: Visit Penang

As for me, I only attend this event was to only admire the closing ceremony, which was the Fireworks presentation, cordially sponsored by various organizations. So, for those missed out this year's BonOdori, I took the effort to actually video record it. Do enjoy, :)

So after the fireworks, I left late as ALWAYS to avoid the massive traffic congestion.

That's all for now, till then.. =]

p/s: is there such saying? LOL!!

To all you readers there, care to take a while guess how much is it? I'll reveal the answer in a week time...

FYI: picture was taken with my new nokia 5730 xpressmusic

Made In Thailand 2009 v1

23rd June 2009(Day1)

I can still remember this day very well, because I took the freaking leave for that whole particular week, but then I was forced to attend the morning class. Thanks to my dad, but oh well, I only attended one simple lecture and went home immediately to have a short nap before the trip.
So, my family got to the airport in Penang via Glen, Sophia and aunt Imm. The flight was delayed AGAIN, for some unknown reason.

A family picture before leaving for Bangkok.
p/s:try spotting who's not in the picture....

Notice that they in the plane, they sprayed the disinfectant as a precaution to H1N1

Penang International Airport

The trip from Penang to Bangkok took us 2hrs. The taking off and landing wasn't that bad. So upon arrival, I was so shocked to see that the Bangkok's International Airport was so HUGE!!!

According to my sister, it's almost similar to HongKong's International Airport. Soon after getting there, we were supposed to rushed to take the airport shuttle, but somehow we got lost in the airport.LOL!! Finally we got on the shuttle and headed to the Airport of Thailand(AOT) Bus Terminal. So, a lil bit off the timing, we bought the 7pm bus tickets to Pattaya. The journey took us 1hr.

So when we first arrive on the outskirts of Pattaya, it looked D-E-A-D to me. No offense, it was like so different from what was illustrated on the brochures. So, we checked in our hotel, All Seasons Hotel, Pattaya.

All Seasons Hotel Pattaya

We did a lil freshen-up and strolled out for our late dinner at a coffee shop nearby.

Super-sweet iced milk tea.

Looks familiar?

Super-duper hot fried koay teow with prawns

So after dinner, my family and I walked aimlessly had no idea on where should we go. We ended up in one off those 'areas',*if you know what I mean?*
Left+right, are filled with Thai transsexuals. I noticed that they do not target Asians at all, but they only go for those Caucasians. The places was like beer, billiards, pole dancing with trans and more and more trans. No picture was taken because afraid that I might get into trouble for doing that.
A lil random shots perhaps?

As we continued walking down, we decided to go look for the Hard Rock Cafe, Pattaya. The thing is we found Hard Rock Hotel. So, we took a little tour inside the hotel and voila, we're in Hard Rock Cafe. I only had 1 beer though, I somehow dislike the local beer as they do not serve Tiger/Carlsberg in Thailand anymore for some reason. The band there was only satisfactory for me as I was surprised to see them singing some of the latest songs.

We left Hard Rock Cafe and strolled along the waterfront of Pattaya at midnight with nothing to see. LOL!! On the way back, we bought this mango+glutinous rice dessert. I notice that many of the hawkers are still open as many finish work after 11pm local time(12am midnight Malaysian time)

So that's the end of Day1, kinda short rite? It's because we arrive during night. I guess I'll spend more time doing the other 6days.

Kai Yann and Chin Quan's Sweet 16 (2009),Hitz.Fm Hotlink Youth Club Party 2009, Jeremy Cheah 18th (2009)

13th June 2009

What a delay!!!!!, but it's really unavoidable for me, schedules have been really tight nowadays and will be till the end of the first semester, I guess. Oh well, this event was pre-planned sometime ago by a few of brotherhood juniors for their beloved schoolmate since elementary school, so as their so-called-senior, I decided to join them.
I really enjoying observing the younger one's action, doing their stuffs, enjoying themselves to the MAXX. It really gives me the flashback of my past, when I was still a high school student. The duo's, jointly organized birthday party was held at Stella Maris, Tanjung Tokong. A barbecue by the wind+sandy beach. Among those attended were, CasonChong, JangGiap, ShaunOoi, MelvinTan, KennyKooi, JordanLee, WeeGene, AlexOng, KumarKartik, HeanSun, BengHai, Ian, JeremyCheah and many more(sorry if I've missed out your name). Bumped into K.Wen that night, we headed down to UPR right after that.

Last but not least, a happy super-belated birthday to Kai Yann & Chin Quan from my blog...

Somehow, one way or the other, I really envy the brotherhood among them.

So, we went to K.Wen's place to freshen up before heading down to UPR, I still remember that K.Wen had problems driving my car. The engine died countless times man. So it was me, Jeremy, K.Wen heading down UPR. We met quite a number of friends there too. Our first stop was F.A.M.E, to actually have a look at the party that was going on. Coollen joined us too..

I took a video of it too;

remember to support your local artists...

We left F.A.M.E after Dj Jakeman started playing some non-stop hitz.

Then we went out and discussed where to head next.. LOL

Jeremy Cheah's 18th
After deciding, we decided to go to MOIS on that night, as it was also JeremyCheah's 18. Which left me, ShunGee NOT 18 YET!! I'm now wondering what should I do only my 18th.. LOL
As usual, MOIS is never NOT pack. The heat + music was like your midnight work-out-session.

Jeremy Cheah's 18th

Well thank god that JeremyCheah enjoyed his 18th...
