25th June 2009(Day3)

It was our third day at Thailand, it was time to left Pattaya and continue the rest of the day to Bangkok.

Leaving for Bangkok

Leaving for Bangkok

We sat on a chartered van, for like 2hrs before entering the outskirts of Bangkok. During the journey, we stopped by at a crocodile farm.

The place was just "okay" for me. Although it did stink a little. SWT. To be honest, up till now I do not know how to differentiate between an alligator and a crocodile when I see one, do you? All I see is just a 2-feet, 4-legged, amphibian which does not move until provoked, and again they freaking STINK!!!

Upon arrival, we went random strolling around the crocodile farm. Can't believe they can be so cruel and sell crocodile meat at the same time. EWW!! I notice that most crocodiles there are dying of old aged, maybe that's where they obtain the meat from...
When randomly strolling we saw this; luckily I was quick enough to take a few shots of it..

A monitor lizard eating a frog

I was surprised to see that there is also an elephant show at the crocodile farm, how ridiculous rite?

Well, that's what we call business, trying to put all-in-one so that more it'll attract more tourist.
Among the add-ons were;

What gave me shocks which were, all restricted areas were not locked properly, some were left open without any surveillance.

So we rushed on to have a look on the crocodile dare devil show. It was something like a death defying act. As a Malaysian, I sincerely was embarrassed because there was this group of Thai students who were speaking + writing in Mandarin during the whole crocodile show, I know no Mandarin =.='''...

As we were behind scheduled, we left immediately after the crocodile show ends, and quickly left for late lunch at a seafood restaurant. The seafood was kinda fresh, as you can see mini lorries are always stopping at their door-front to sell the restaurant their catch. A re-route plan was re-scheduled. After lunch, we head on to some tower to get mom's yoga stuff. The mat cost her quite a bomb though, RM400++. On the way I saw this;

A guy with only left hand and leg.

Then it was time to shop shop shop, but SWT, what do guys like me have to shop?LOL!!
We went to the MBK(combination of Penang's Prangin Mall &Lorong Kulit + K.L's Petaling Street). Left and right everything is imitation goods at a very affordable+reasonable price. I guess this is where Malaysia's Night Market gets their stock. E.g: those t-shirts with funny quotes/logos can be obtained from as low as RM8 per piece compared to RM15-25.

We then left for dinner with dad's friend at a chinese restaurant, the steam fish was the best that I've ever tasted so far in my life(no offense).

Had a little drink of imported whiskey and checked in to the hotel, Bangkok City Inn. Dozed off soundly as there is still more to come on the next day.
