23rd June 2009(Day1)
I can still remember this day very well, because I took the freaking leave for that whole particular week, but then I was forced to attend the morning class. Thanks to my dad, but oh well, I only attended one simple lecture and went home immediately to have a short nap before the trip.
So, my family got to the airport in Penang via Glen, Sophia and aunt Imm. The flight was delayed AGAIN, for some unknown reason.

A family picture before leaving for Bangkok.
p/s:try spotting who's not in the picture....

Notice that they in the plane, they sprayed the disinfectant as a precaution to H1N1

Penang International Airport
The trip from Penang to Bangkok took us 2hrs. The taking off and landing wasn't that bad. So upon arrival, I was so shocked to see that the Bangkok's International Airport was so HUGE!!!

According to my sister, it's almost similar to HongKong's International Airport. Soon after getting there, we were supposed to rushed to take the airport shuttle, but somehow we got lost in the airport.LOL!! Finally we got on the shuttle and headed to the Airport of Thailand(AOT) Bus Terminal. So, a lil bit off the timing, we bought the 7pm bus tickets to Pattaya. The journey took us 1hr.
So when we first arrive on the outskirts of Pattaya, it looked D-E-A-D to me. No offense, it was like so different from what was illustrated on the brochures. So, we checked in our hotel, All Seasons Hotel, Pattaya.

All Seasons Hotel Pattaya
We did a lil freshen-up and strolled out for our late dinner at a coffee shop nearby.

Super-sweet iced milk tea.
Looks familiar?

Super-duper hot fried koay teow with prawns
So after dinner, my family and I walked aimlessly had no idea on where should we go. We ended up in one off those 'areas',*if you know what I mean?*
Left+right, are filled with Thai transsexuals. I noticed that they do not target Asians at all, but they only go for those Caucasians. The places was like beer, billiards, pole dancing with trans and more and more trans. No picture was taken because afraid that I might get into trouble for doing that.
A lil random shots perhaps?

As we continued walking down, we decided to go look for the Hard Rock Cafe, Pattaya. The thing is we found Hard Rock Hotel. So, we took a little tour inside the hotel and voila, we're in Hard Rock Cafe. I only had 1 beer though, I somehow dislike the local beer as they do not serve Tiger/Carlsberg in Thailand anymore for some reason. The band there was only satisfactory for me as I was surprised to see them singing some of the latest songs.

We left Hard Rock Cafe and strolled along the waterfront of Pattaya at midnight with nothing to see. LOL!! On the way back, we bought this mango+glutinous rice dessert. I notice that many of the hawkers are still open as many finish work after 11pm local time(12am midnight Malaysian time)
So that's the end of Day1, kinda short rite? It's because we arrive during night. I guess I'll spend more time doing the other 6days.
