TARC Orientation Week 2009 v1 (Day 1 & Day 2)
(18/5/09-22/5/09)
Day1 (18/5/09)
Just like any ordinary school/college/university, when entering a new environment you tend to be shy, act innocent although your not and etc. Therefore, the orientation week is organized to actually create a little bonding between freshmen among themselves and seniors. When I first got there, I was like so humiliated because I'm like 1/100(one in a hundred) that do not know how to speak/understand mandarin, or better known as "Banana Man"*haihx* so paiseh okei..

Beginning Of The Ceremony
These decent freshie's looking so well prepared for what's next ahead of them but is it really that true?

Freshmen of 2009..
We were then divided into different group, clueless on who we will be meeting and so on. Then we proceeded into tutorial classes for some ice-breaking session. I got in to group 14, Taipei(SBS) .

This is my assistant group leader : Jason Quah
After that we went our own ways for a Student Support Workshop; Intro to Tertiary Studies by the Extra Mural Studies Department.
Day1:was actually quite LAME to me, because I had no friends, no one to talk to cuz I am the BANANA guy, luckily there was an Indian girl in my group, or I would not even understand a single word that is coming out from their mouths. *What a disgrace!!!* So after day1, there actually thoughts of me not going for the day2, but I decided to give them a 2nd chance to them and myself to do something bout it. An ohm session was held before dismissing everyone,

Ohm: SBS vs SOT
School Of Business Studies vs School Of Technology
Who won? Keep reading people!!!

1.Put your right hand up..

In the ayerrr!!!!!
After that, Danzity gave us a short performance on stage, I did a record a video of it
p/s: sorry for the low resolution and quality of it
Then we went our own ways again for our Course Briefing and Study Skills Workshop. My course was Diploma In Technology (Building), and yeah we got "blackmailed" by our course lecturer(head), it was kinda scary.
After that we return back to our tutorial classes discussed a little bit of our strategies for the next event on the schedule; Telematch..

Our so called slogan, which I took from somewhere.. XD

familiar to you scouts out there?
I can't actually explained to you readers where what actually happened on Telematch session as there is too much to remember, therefore I shall only post pictures as highlights of the events.

Write the given Chinese words with your mouth (3person)

Throw the balloon, not pass..

We LOST!! =[
Because our junior leader was,

hiding somewhere, when we were competing..

Fill up the bottle with sponge ONLY!!!

I look like an AhPek from here...

Spell it out!!

Lie down on the ground and form letter to spell the words..

Drink as much water as you can from a certain height with only 1 breath..

Divide the beans according to their color/size with only chopsticks..
And when you lose, you'll have to do some penalty which your opposing group decides

Quack x3
The day ended like this; 3 words from the junior leader,

Well Done Guys!!!
That's about it for Day1 & 2, will update bout Day3-5 when I have my spare time again, college life is quite hectic for me, assignments, non-stop classes from 9am-5pm with only 1hr break daily, *haihx*..
Till next time.. =]

Day2 (19/5/09)
Day2 started with a little fun, I guess. The first activity was Fresh N' Fit session. It was conducted by the dance crew Danzity Dance House. We done some stretching and learned some simple but COOL hip hop moves.
